Objectives of SSTP
The main objective of SSTP is to equip contractors
with necessary technical and management skills
so as to make them more competitive in the
local and regional markets. This training
focuses on contractor needs, encompasses all
contractors and takes into consideration lessons
learnt from previous training programmes.
Grouping of contractors
Contractors have been grouped
into three categories for the purpose of this
training as shown below;

The target cadres in each group are the Directors
/ Partners (DP), Top Executives (TE) and Technical
Supervisory staff (TS). A contractor is expected
to complete the modules in his group before
he can upgrade to the next group. Contractors
wishing to participate in modules, which are
not within their group, can do, but priority
will be given to the target group.
Training modules
There are twenty (20) training modules under
SSTP. These modules are derived from seven
