The Contractors Registration Board is a public institution established under the Contractors Registration Act, 1997 for thepurpose of Registering, Regulating and Promoting Contractors in Tanzania.
Registration of Construction Projects
Notice is hereby given to all contractors, developers, clients and the general public that effective from 30th June 2005, the Minister for Works has assented an Amendment to the Contractors Registration By-laws. Subsequently, the Board has been mandated to register all types of construction projects with a contract value equal to or exceeding Tshs. 10 million shall be eligible for Registration. Registered projects shall be issued with a Project Registration Sticker which shall be affixed on the Project Signboard. The guidelines and the Application forms can be downloaded here!!!
